Dr. Hernández is a consulting psychologist for different organizations, including the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA), where she provides clinical supervision to clinical managers and directors. She also provided cultural and linguistic consultation for the Sonoma Rises app, as part of the Wildfire Mental Health Collaborative of Sonoma County.
Additionally, Dr. Hernández has extensive teaching and training experience, in-person and virtually. She has been an invited guest speaker at various community and academic events and workshops, as well as has presented at local and national conferences on various topics including working with couples and families with trauma, themes of multiculturalism in training, bilingual training and conducting immigration evaluations.
Courses Taught: Spanish for Clinicians, Law and Ethics, Individual Counseling Skills with Latinx Clients, Interventions with Latinx Families and Children, Multicultural Counseling, Psychological Assessment, Psychopharmacology, and Systems Theory and the Family.
